Workshop – plant propagation
with colin moat
Ryarsh Village Hall, ME19 5LS
Thursday 15 November 2018, 10.00am – 1.00pm
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
Colin Moat has very kindly offered to hold another workshop on plant propagation, similar to the very enjoyable one he ran five years ago, but this time in the autumn rather than spring. He will demonstrate division of herbaceous plants, with the possibility of cuttings or root cuttings as well, time permitting. Plant material will be provided, but members can bring along a plant for propagation if they wish, and all plants produced can be taken away. Colin has a few suitable knives available to borrow, and members can bring their own sharp pocket knife-sized knife, but no kitchen knives, please! The morning will start with refreshments at Colin’s house before moving to his polytunnel about a mile away, so we will be under cover.
Purely as a precaution, Colin has asked that, by booking for this event, participants agree to take part at their own risk, and that neither he nor Kent Group will be held responsible for any injuries or accidents, however incurred!
Cost: £10, to include refreshments, plant material, pots and compost
There is a booking form in the Summer 2019 newsletter.
