Plants, Borders and Gardens

80 minutes

Sunday 29 November 2009
Timothy Walker kept a packed audience of Hardy Planters hanging on for dear life as he took them on a whistle-stop tour of the world in 80 minutes. Seemingly, without pausing for breath, he talked about an amazing number of plants from every continent, plants he loves and those he hates. Using stunning images, he showed us plants from giant redwoods to tiny orchids - enough to keep any plantsman happy.
With a final flourish he demonstrated, with examples from just three gardens, how gardeners bring plants together in so many different ways.

Timothy Walker’s lecture was a real tour de force and Kent Group members are looking forward to any return visit in the future.
