Downs Court is a new venue for our summer plant fair this year. The garden is a three-acre downland garden with alkaline soil and has a magnificent setting up on the edge of the Stour Valley with commanding views over the countryside towards Wye. The garden has a wide sweeping lawn with some fine trees that will make a lovely setting for the plant stalls. The lawn is fringed with deep mixed borders containing some unnusual plants and a good range of shrub and climbing roses. There is also a parterre and mature yew and box hedging.
Make a date to visit this quintessential English garden and make some seasonal purchases.

The garden is open for NGS so there are no concessions.
