Members’ lecture meeting. Guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings before becoming members.

The speaker for this meeting was to have been Wol Staines but, due to ill health, he is unable to come and we have been fortunate to book Jennifer Harmer to talk to us about phlox.
Jennifer has grown and undertaken extensive research on Phlox paniculata and is the co-author of the HPS booklet on Phlox.
She also has a passion for auriculas and through the research on these she was heavily involvedĀ  in creating and running The Dean Garnier Garden within the Close of Winchester Cathedral.
She lives and gardens in Hampshire and was part of the Hampshire HPS Group team who presented the Gold Medal winning garden exhibit at Chelsea in 2009.
Jennifer also holds the office of the Hardy Plant Society Historian.

As usual at our lecture meetings there will also be:

Plant display - Plant sale - Seed exchange - Book sale - Raffle - Teas
