Headcorn Village Hall, Headcorn TN27 9NR

Sunday 28 October 2018, 2.30pm

Members’ lecture meeting. Guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings before becoming members.
Members £3 Guests £5

Bob is well-known to many members as a nurseryman and renowned  plantsman, with strong and uncompromisingly expressed opinions about what constitutes a good plant, which makes for some very entertaining lectures! He says of this particular talk that it is ‘designed to stimulate and provoke, challenging some accepted gardening practices.’ Bob’s nursery, Cotswold Garden Flowers, near Evesham, stocks a huge range of rare and unusual plants as well old favourites, usually tested in equally uncompromising conditions and rated for their garden-worthiness. As well as writing for many publications including Gardening Which?, The Garden and The Hardy Plant he also runs a wholesale business, Just Must Perennials.

Following Bob’s talk there will be a special tea to celebrate Kent Group’s 30th  Anniversary. As we will need to have an idea of numbers, please could you book by email or post. Full details are in the Summer 2018 Newsletter.

As usual at our lecture meetings there will also be:      Plant display – Plant sale – Seed exchange – Book sale – Raffle – Teas
