The talk will be followed by our Annual General Meeting.

Members’ lecture meeting. Guests are welcome to attend up to two meetings before becoming members.

Joe Sharman is a renowned galanthophile known for introducing ‘Wendy’s Gold’ into cultivation. He also likes to grow and supply rare and new garden-worthy plants as well as forgotten and disappearing old varieties.
The first rains of autumn have a striking effect on the flora of the Peloponnese. Plants that survive hot, dry summers underground as corms or tubers come into flower and there is much to interest and delight the plant lover.
He will be bringing plants to sell.

The AGM will follow Joe’s talk. You can find all the details in the Autumn Newsletter.

As usual at our lecture meetings there will also be:

Plant display – Plant sale – Seed exchange – Book sale – Raffle – Teas
