Spring Wild Flower Tour of the West Coast 2009
Visit ‘The world in one country’ from the Cape of Good Hope to Namaqualand, with other members of the Hardy Plant Society.
The plants you can expect to see will include the Protea family, Restio, Erica, Watsonia, Gladiolus, Ixia, Babiana, Moraea, Ornithogalum, Lachenalia, Romulea, Aloe, Felicia, Osteospermum, Gazania and many orchid varieties - the list seems endless.
The scenery is stunning and you will also have the opportunity to experience the wide variety of wildlife that South Africa has to offer.
This tour will take place in the last two weeks of August 2009.

Drakensberg Wild Flower and Nature Tour February 2010
Green Routes has just announced an outstanding opportunity, exclusively for Hardy Plant Society members, and their spouses, to experience a new tour in the spectacular Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa in February 2010.
The Drakensberg Mountain range is one of South Africa’s prime ecotourism destinations due to its outstanding beauty. it covers a vast area along the western edge of the South African province of Kwazulu Natal, also known as the Royal Zulu Kingdom.
The Zulu Kingdom offers a diverse variety of experiences including nature and wildlife and the rich African culture and history. The tour will include this but with a particular emphasis on the natural floral beauty of the Drakensberg Mountains.
This tour is offered on a ‘first come first served basis’ with space for only 18 guests.
