Garden Visit – Timbers, East Farleigh
Timbers, East Farleigh, near Maidstone
Tuesday 9 May 2017, 2pm
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
Sue Robinson’s beautiful five-acre garden has been designed with a flower arranger’s eye and an emphasis on colour, with interesting perennials, annuals and shrubs, and tulips in spring (featured in the April 2017 issue of The English Garden). As well as island beds, a parterre, pergola, rock pool with waterfall, arbour and mature specimen trees, there is also a new partly walled garden, plus a 100-year old cobnut plat, wildflower meadow and woodland.
Admission: £7.50 per person (in aid of NGS charities), to include cream tea.
There is a booking form in the Spring 2017 Newsletter.
