Garden Visit – Boyton Court, East Sutton
Boyton Court, East Sutton, near Maidstone
Wednesday 15 June 2016, 10.30am and 2.00pm
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
Following our very enjoyable visit to this garden a couple of years ago, and requests for a chance to go back later in the season, we have arranged to re-visit it in June. Boyton Court is a three-acre garden on the southern edge of the greensand ridge affording spectacular views across the Weald. It falls in a series of terraces through which water from a natural spring has been used to create ponds and other water features. There are large mixed borders, a formal garden and a scree slope, as well as several greenhouses with exotic and alpine plants, which are a special interest of Dr. Adrian Cooper, the owner.
There will be a booking form in the Spring 2016 newsletter.
