Garden Visit – Boyton Court, East Sutton
Boyton Court, East Sutton
Saturday 25 March 2017, 1.00pm
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
Following last year’s very successful visit in June to this remarkable garden, we are delighted to have a chance to see it again earlier in the season. The three-acre garden lies on the southern edge of greensand ridge, affording spectacular views over the Weald; it falls in a series of slopes and terraces, through which water from a natural spring has been harnessed to create ponds and other water features, with a wide range of primroses grown on the banks. There are also large mixed borders, a formal garden and a scree slope. An impressive arid house showcases a wide variety of exotic plants, and there are also bulb and alpine houses.
There is a booking form in the Winter 2017 newsletter.
