Garden Tea Party
West Court Lodge, Postling, near Hythe
Saturday 6 August 2016, 2 – 5pm
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
It is two years since our last garden party, greatly enjoyed by our members, so this year we are arranging another, this time in Malliet and John Pattrick’s beautiful one-acre walled garden at the foot of the North Downs. We will also be able to visit the adjoining garden, Churchfield, where cars can be parked. This five-acre garden includes springs which form the source of the East Stour, with lakes and waterfalls, as well as borders, a vegetable garden and a cobnut plat.
There will be an HPS plant stall so do bring any spare plants to sell and look for new plants to add to your gardens for the summer. We also plan to have a raffle and perhaps even a fun quiz to get those brain cells working.
But most important of all there will be a delicious home-made tea, and the chance to spend the afternoon in two lovely gardens and to chat with friends.
So come and join us for this very special occasion.
There will be a booking form in the Spring 2016 newsletter.
