TUNSTALL VILLAGE MEMORIAL HALL,
nr. Sittingbourne, ME10 1YZ
SUNDAY 8 DECEMBER 2019
10.30 FOR 11.00AM TO 3.00PM
This event is for members only and must be pre-booked.
We will start the day with short talks from Robert Lines and Jeanette Lerwill.
As before, we are asking everyone to bring something from their garden that is looking good, or just interesting, in December. In addition to having an attractive display, we will be rounding off the morning with an informal discussion about the exhibits. After lunch there will be further light-hearted entertainment, before the day ends with tea and mince pies.
A new feature for this year’s party will be a display of members’ photographs, as there will not be a Photographic Show next year. There will be no classes or prize certificates – just bring along your favourite photos of plants or gardens (maximum of three per person), and everyone will have the opportunity to vote for the one they like best. As usual, photos should be mounted on card no bigger than A4, with the photographer’s name on the back. Numbered stickers will be provided to identify the photographs for voting.
People attending the party are asked to contribute something towards the lunch and will be contacted by phone nearer the time to determine what they would like to bring. Please note that we will not be providing wine, but soft drinks will be available. Glasses will be provided, and you are very welcome to bring your own wine.
There is a booking form in the Autumn 2019 Newsletter.
