The Hardy Plant Society Kent Group Plant Fairs are held in large gardens open to the public, sometimes in association with an opening under The National Gardens Scheme "Yellow Book".
Selected, specialist nurseries and private growers attend offering a wide range of desirable and unusual herbaceous perennials, bulbs, alpines and shrubs.
Some private growers sell only through the Plant Fairs which provide an opportunity to buy plants which may not be available elsewhere.
A charge is made for admission to the gardens which includes admission to the sales.
