Sorry no dogs.

Linda and Michael Belton are opening their garden under the NGS scheme once again but at a later date than on previous years, as their daughter got married at the end of July and the garden (and they) needed some recovery time. After such a “difficult” season  it will be interesting to see how it has fared. As long time members of the HPS there are many unusual and interesting plants in the garden and where possible they offer plants for sale .

There will be excellent refreshments available in the form of light lunches or afternoon teas (with delicious cake) on the patio at South Grange, or you could find another nice spot to sit in if you wished.

South Grange is in Northiam so why not combine a visit to Great Dixter too?   map

Don’t miss the last plant fair of the season

Where did the summer go? Our September Plant Fair at Mount Ephraim on Sunday 11th is the last chance to buy plants at an HPS event this year. But, as luck would have it, it’s the very best time for planting. So, go ahead and buy some wonderful, colourful, unusual, even rare plants while the soil is warm and moist enough to give them a great start.
