We do it in the winter too! Garden visiting, that is.

A group of members visited Knowle Hill Farm last week and managed to choose a rare day without rain. For many February is the month for snowdrops but there was much more to see at Knowle Hill. The group enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Elizabeth Cairns’ immaculate spring garden and the sun came out and shone upon the snowdrops, cyclamen and hellebores. It was a very colourful and pretty sight. And afterwards they enjoyed lovely tea and cakes next to the wood burner – a very traditional end to one of our garden visits.
